Christmas at Blenheim Palace

By  |

Christmas at Blenheim Palace is back and it doesn’t disappoint. The fact that you can convert your ticket to a free annual pass makes it even more value for money. As you enter the outer courtyard between the Gift Shop and Orangery you’ll find a classic carousel and retro helter skelter, along with a couple of food stalls.

The Christmas light trail at Blenheim Palace

It’s the most wonderful time of the year when over a million lights, lasers and seasonal sounds fill the air with festive fun through the Palace’s picture-perfect gardens. Look forward to some together time with family and friends as you discover glittering tunnels of light, dancing lakeside reflections and trees drenched in jewel-like colour. For a moment of reflection pause at mesmerising flickering flames in the fire garden, gaze up at the larger-than-life illuminations and don’t forget to catch a glimpse of Father Christmas along the way.

The story of The Nutcracker re-imagined

Explore the Palace rooms, each one exquisitely transformed and filled with hidden surprises – from the toymaker’s workshop on a frosty Christmas Eve; through the glistening Land of Snow and onto the candy-cane Kingdom of Sweets adorned with the sweetest of treats and larger-than-life gingerbread men. It’s a fairy-tale world where nothing is quite as it seems, from a dashing Nutcracker Prince and an army of mice to a Sugar Plum Fairy and a music box with a difference. This fantastical winter wonderland is where the magic really begins….
