The much-anticipated Classic Boat Festival is set to make waves in London once again on September 7th and 8th at the historic St Katharine Docks, London’s largest marina, promising a weekend filled with maritime splendour.

Set to be the biggest festival the waterside estate has ever seen, this year’s event will host an impressive line-up of over 50 vessels, making it an absolute must-visit for boat enthusiasts, history aficionados, and families alike.

The 15th edition of this annual nautical spectacle, this free event will see the return of the Dunkirk Little Ships alongside other war heroes, including the Bates Starcraft range and the 20-metre Navy P2000 ship. Larger vessels such as the Thames Sailing Barges, Edith May, and the Adieu will be in situ, in addition to the Whitstable Smack Thistle, which will be displayed alongside the public pontoon.

Capturing the essence of nautical allure, this exclusive event showcases traditional craftsmanship and historic boats, allowing attendees to experience the spectacle of beautifully restored classics as they line the docks in the heart of the capital.

The festival will kick off with a majestic horn salute, a cherished tradition that signals the beginning of the festivities and will also mark its grand finale. Alongside the impressive vessels, attendees can enjoy a plethora of landside activities tailored for families, making it a perfect day out for all. While exploring the festival, visitors can also indulge in delectable food and beverages from the dockside bars, restaurants and pop-up stalls.

With a captivating array of classic boats, each with its rich history, St Katharine Docks will be transformed into a visually stunning living museum. From elegant sailing yachts to majestic steamboats, this curated collection promises to be a feast for the eyes and a fascinating journey into the heyday of maritime travel.

Offering free entry for all, take advantage of your chance to be part of this unforgettable celebration of maritime heritage at London’s largest marina on the 7th and 8th of September for a weekend of nautical wonders and family fun.
