FFWD Season 10

In it’s 10^th season, Fashion Forward takes over the Dubai Design District, growing its audience from invite-only to the open public, and amongst them are fashion enthusiasts, the press, and many more. Fashion forward is a four-day jamboree of runway shows, presentations, exhibitions, talks, shopping, music and film.

Taking place on the 26^th, until the 28^th of October, this season of Fashion Forward features the most diverse line up of designers, who are both local, and international.  Designers, Anna K, Eudon Choi, João Rolo, Nabil Nayal, and Sid Neigum are set to make their Fashion Forward debut this October.

“We are thrilled to have secured the Syrian designer Nabil El Nayal, who was one of eight new talents shortlisted for the LVMH prize for young fashion designer this year,” says founder and CEO of Fashion Forward Bong Guerrero.

Education is a necessity and being within an industry where change is inevitable and is bound to happen, it’s important to have insight. Amongst Fashion Forward’s programs will be educational and business talks, which touch upon many factors within the fashion industry. From conversations about creating retail spaces, funding a fashion business, to talks with professionals, of the likes of designer Mary Katrantzou, who’ll be attending this season.
